Samintharaj Kumar graduated in Dentistry from Singapore in 2001.
During this undergraduate period, he was the 1st South-East Asian
recipient for the David B. Scott Research Fellowship Award
(International Association for Dental Research)
He spent his final year elective of his medical degree in the
Craniofacial Unit at The Hospital for Sick Kids in Toronto, Canada.
During medical school he won a number of prizes for academic merit
including the Drummond and Frank Scott Prize for overall
performance in preclinical medicine, received awards from the
British Association of Plastic Surgeons, British Association of
Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, The Royal College of Physicians and
The Wellcome Trust.
During his training towards a career in Maxillofacial Surgery, he
has had extensive specialist exposure to the field of Non-Surgical
Aesthetic Rejuvenation. His training has been acquired through
courses with specialists in the non-surgical industry and has
successfully performed such treatments for the past four years. He
now trains doctors and dentists on how to inject Botulinum toxin and

What is botulinum toxin?
Botulinum toxin is a purified bacterial substance that blocks muscle

Welcome to CareDental
You will be initially greeted by our friendly receptionists at the
front desk. Please then kindly fill in the medical questionnaire for
your dental appointment as this will enable the dentist to better
understand any specific concerns. Sit back then to watch the
SmileChannel which is available on our new plasma screen at our
reception area. Find out more about dental treatments and what your
dentist can do for you.
At your first consultation, you can expect to be with the dental
team for up to 30 minutes. This fee will be £35.00. During this
time, you will be given a thorough examination for both signs of
tooth decay and gum disease. Soft and hard tisssues will be screened
for any early signs of possible abnormalities. 2 bitewings xrays and
possible an OPG might be taken. Finally, an examination of your bite
and jaw will also be made.
We will then proceed with a discussion of the findings and
recommendations. To help with your understanding of the treatment
options available to you, this will include viewing specific sites
using an intra-oral camera of any relevant xrays, leading to an
informed decision on your dental care. A written estimate and
treatment plan tailored to your individual requirements will then be
given for your consideration. Further appointments can be arranged
to your convenience.
We pride ourselves in being patient focused. This also meant that
you can be confident that we will always listen to your fears and
anxieties.

Wheelchair access to our practice is offered via a ramp at the front
door. Regrettably, our toilet facilities are not able to provide

Parking at CareDental SmileStudios
There is a large car park associated with Hounslow West tube
station. This costs £2.50 daily. Opposite the tube station behind
Sommerfield supermarket there is a car park which is free for two
hours. This is only available if you shop in Sommerfield. There are
also Pay & Display car parks in this area. Parking metres can be
found on St Paul's Close, Dale Avenue, Solway Close, Standard Road,
Maitland Avenue, Ferndale Avenue and Bath Road. See map below for
position of these metres. All these roads are found within 3 minutes
walking distance of our dental practice.
